HIGH-PRESSURE METAMORPHIC ROCKS OF THE CHARA OPHIOLITE BELT (CAOB): AGE AND EXHUMATION CONDITIONS

A critical element in the construction of tectonic models exhumation basalts that have undergone high-pressure metamorphism is diagnosis synchronicity and genetic relationship between deformations metamorphic changes. In this report, these issues are discussed on example metabasalts Chara ophiolite belt. bottom basalt block with separation pillow lavas near Burshabulak farm, crack-vein systems mineral associations were discovered analyzed, which directly indicates their origin. It shown conditions for formation such vein correspond to eclogite-like rocks (P=18.5 kbar temperatures no more than 520 °C). The age synchronous type according 40 Ar/ 39 Ar isotope dating amphiboles cannot be younger boundary 452±14 million years.
